Georgetown-Cuse, Kansas-Baylor at seven. Duke-UNC at nine.

Who ya got? Obviously the three home teams will be favored, but I actually think Georgetown has the best shot of pulling off the upset. They've already won two tough road games @Alabama and @Louisville, and I think Cuse can get a little bit full of themselves at times.

I'd be shocked if Dook beat UNC. UNC has Dook beat at four positions, they have a lot more length on the inside, and they have a guy in Harrison Barnes who Dook has no shot at matching up with. Seriously, who are they going to put on Barnes?

Baylor remembers what Kansas did to them at the Phog. That said, I expect it to be a close game with KU coming off that heart-breaker at Mizzou. And if you're looking at a guy who is doing a great Rick Barnes impersonation, it's Scott Drew. Baylor reminds me a lot of the Texas teams over the past couple years who peaked in December.

I'm in full Bah, humbug! mode with cbb right now, but I'm going with all of the home teams tonite.

Even though I think Gtown is good this year, I think they're going to find out that Cuse is at another level.

I think unc rolls and Baylor pulls away in the final few minutes.

Biggest thing that Coach K should be worried about is that this team is not playing defense at close to the level they are used to performing , statistically speaking. North Carolina isn't really that intimidating, to me. Their front court is a little soft. Harrison Barnes is really talented, but he's got a little too much "nice guy" syndrome in him, kind of like Wes Johnson for Syracuse a couple years ago. I'm surprised Baylor is so soft up front - too much acclaim, young players not wanting to do the dirty work, afraid of getting banged around before they get their contract.

Duke can beat UNC simply because they have some great 3-PT shooters and UNC is without it's best perimeter defender.

Georgetown will have to play much better than they did against UConn to have a chance against Cuse. Cuse may not be the most talented team individually, but they play really well together and come in waves.

Baylor and Kansas comes down to a close game. I'm not a fan of Kansas' guards but they seem to win.

If Georgetown could make a layup they would be up by at least 5-10, but they are down 4.

G'town - Cuse in early OT as I write this, but the Hoyas showed me a lot coming back late to put it into OT They attack the 2-3 zone very methodically. (Like UConn will never be able to on Sat.)

They looked so bad against UConn in the first half, but have looked really good against the Cuse.

That cuse run at the end where they couldn't score for about 4:30+ mins shows their ineffectiveness in the halfcourt offense. I know it will be hard for UConn to attack their zone, but if UConn can force Cuse to playing the half court, I think they can keep this thing closer than expected

UNC - Duke is a high scoring affair. UConn fans would go ballistic if UConn played D like this. I mean there is good offense but also some horrid defense.

Nice watching teams execute on offense. Jealous.
Plus 1 - there might be a lack of defense, but it is refreshing watching teams that don't look drunk on offense. The BE isn't that far from the Big Ten this year stylistically.

You get the feeling Dook played just about as well as they can play in the first half and are still down three. UNC is just destroying them on the glass and Dook has no answer.

If you want to know how bad Dook's perimeter D is, just look at Kendall Marshall. He's actually looking for his own offense.

Energy is key for UNC. When they play hard for a full 40 minutes them and Kentucky are the two best teams in the country.

Also, I hate to blow by own horn, but Baylor tonight looked exactly like a Rick Barnes team. Are we sure Scott Drew never coached under him? He's practically a prodige. Kansas is good, but they don't have as much talent as Baylor does. Losing by 20 on your homecourt to anybody is embarassing.

And Georgetown showed me a lot in their loss to Cuse, although they came up short. I agree with the poster who worries about Cuse's half court offense at times. Don't tell anyone, but Cuse's biggest weapon may be the officials. They get every f'in call in that Dome to the point that it is ridiculous. If the game is close on Saturday expect to get *ked at least a couple times by the zeebras.

You'd think of any teams in the nation, UNC would know that Duke's entire offense consists of chucking up 3s. How does Zeller not get in his face there?

There is a reason both these teams lost to FSU.
