But after challenging well against Baylor in the first half, Texas was worn down, went almost 6 minutes without a point in the second half, and were losing by 20 with about 50 seconds to go. Kim was obnoxiously pissy about the bigger lead disappearing at the end, but she was right that the game was not as close as the final score looked. The Horns were not looking that competitive against the Baylor regulars in the second half.Texas lost a couple weeks ago to Baylor by 11 with most of Baylor's scoring coming from their guards and 5' 11" Nina Davis. Can't see Uconn having much trouble solving the height differential puzzzle, especially because it's rare for UConn to go cold shooting threes as a team this year.
