Next year is Stef's last. We seem to have needed another post player to join Chong next year, and we didn't get one. Recruitment is key as we all know for next year. But bigs take a while to develop.... We have to see some strong development in Stewie, Tuck and much more from Kiah. I'm really glad that Geno is forcing them; and today he had no choice. So really, it was a good thing that it happened. Really...

Three years ago, we thought Tina was totally irreplaceable, which may have been true to some degree.

But who thought in the Fall of 2010 that the next #31, out-of-shape as she was, would be a huge key and perhaps very irreplaceable as well? The Big Girl is a big impact player!

I see next year's class of one as a potentially very serious situation for the following year. Has a lot to do with some folks on the team who are behind the curve in development.

Id say Kiah is going to be pivotal in this. She will have to step it up come march and work hard(er) over summer. Physically its all there, mentally cant say the same. She always seems lost and timid on the court. Let me tell you, when she bodies a defender... she get the position she needs. Unfortunately, because of her past misses of easy layups or inability to handle a pass I think our guards are a bit hesitant to get it to her. If she works on her reaction time in regards to where the ball is, shes a solid Center leaving stewie to move out around the 10-15ft land where we have seen her be deadly.

ive always thought that Geno needs to figure out what the hell it takes it get that girl angry before she gets on the court. No idea, shes very happy most of the time. While only up 3/4 with a little less than a minute left she banked in a free throw and laughed. Even though they were leading and St Johns resorted to fouling, I want to see that fire in her wanting a perfect shot. (Guess my 17 years of uconn fandom has lead to very high expectations lol cant help that ive seen perfection so often) Who knows, shes from Iowa... maybe insult corn? lack of mountains? John Wayne? lol SOMETHING! Ill say it now, piss that girl off and she'll double double every night.

Guess you missed the part on the sign in the locker room that says "HAVE FUN"

I'm SURE Kiah isn't happy with performance at less than her best and I'm sure the coaches are doing everything to try to steer her toward a mental state where she is able to and does perform her best.

Haha I Know... I know. It was just my will to see a fire in her eyes. She plays in streaks, when shes on it effects her play both sides of the court. Just waiting for her to be on consistently and for extended minutes. You can tell she's frustrated with her play. I thought starting her was a brilliant move on Genos part to build confidence. Lets see how it plays out come Baylor game when her size and strength will be a necessity
