Thomas and House transfer releases denied

Things like this is why players won the right to unionize (which I don't agree with). If a kid wants to leave the school he should be able to leave. Scholarships are one year contracts but players have to have permission to transfer? Bullspit

Interesting, not one initiative about athletic success.....I'm shocked to see another example of institutional hypocrisy:D These kids didn't sign up to play for Sampson. Here's hoping this "special" university committee allows them to transfer. I don't agree with everything Cal says, but he outlines this scenario in the new book everyone seems to be plugging for him.

Thrilled I could link it to a Houston station....Sadly in doing the right thing, the 2014-2015 AAC conference will be further depleted

Yikes. Between this and Danny Manning abandoning Tulsa, the soft underbelly of the AAC is getting that much softer.

Houston won't be a sleeper next year like I thought but Sampson is enormous upgrade over Dickey. Tulsa still returns their talent, they need a good hire.

What is the point of denying the request to transfer? Is Sampson actually going to try to make them play at Houston if they don't want to? Hopefully Sampson is just buying time to try to re-recruit them, because he he doesn't let these two go if they really want to, he is going to have a lot of trouble getting any more recruits to come.
