UConn will have no say as to where they end up after this weekends games.

If Vermont can finally get a win and NE can take it to Maine for lets say 3 out of 4 points, that will be about the best outcome we can get (somewhat realistically....VT is DUE).

UVM is objectively terrible, they won't win. NU plays one game at Maine.

The evening did not really work out for us. That said, next weekend basically determines whether we are in or out.

Merrimack defeating BU is a big win for us. BU now one point ahead of us (even # of games), and we have a home-and-home with them. It's in our hands now. Take three points from BU and we have a shot at home ice for HE playoffs. It's all up to us next weekend in Orono. Two points will be OK; three great. Most compressed HE standings since UConn joined in 2014. Love college hockey.

Rooting for Merrimack, UMass and UVM tonight. UVM is the long shot.

UConn still in a tie for 6th with a lot of potential for a much higher finish. It’s up to the boys. They hold their postseason fate in their own hands.

It is never easy to play Maine at Maine. For one thing it is at the end of the earth and I’m a Maine lover. For another unlike the xl crowd those people are insane.
