we didn't even turn the calender yet

complaining about a play, a stretch of play, 1/2 of a game or even a game is acceptable, that's whet we do.

But saying the team stinks is forbidden. if he wasn't such a good luck charm, I'd suggest an IP banning

I think you need to chill out. I'm guessing you never played basketball beyond 8th grade let alone you were a division 1 athlete. Relax and enjoy the season.
 
I would call this game a learning experience. What did we learn?

Tweaking the line up is a good thing.
Niels is no longer a "secret weapon".
Jet lag is REAL.

Someone can still challenge my initial post. We were down 15 points to a dreadful team the game after scoring 13 pts in a half to not so great team. So at the time yes we did stink. My post didn't say we will forever be the worst team and there is no hope for us. We stunk at the time and that was true.

Im glad we won, but we really shouldnt be down by 15 to that team and we still failed to put them away. If they hit one of about 9 threes at the end, it would've been a 7 pt game. Boat played great as did kromah and our bigs. But that wasn't a very good team we played. We still have a long way to go. I guess I'm a huge d bag and hate uconn for pointing out when we stink. Sorry ill blindly follow us and say how wonderful we are when we continue to barely beat crappy teams yet were ranked in the top 15. I didn't realize this was the youth girls league message board

You're just making yourself look worse with all this backtracking. Admit you made a stupid, reactionary post that we all make from time to time, and move on. Get out of here with this "at the time we did stink, so I was right" ...that's a laughably terrible attempt at digging yourself out of a hole.

Ok take what happened in the game out of the equation, you do realize that when you go off on a message board during the game people are going to bash you. We all get it's a message board and everyones entitled to their own opinions. People in here including myself like your honesty but it needs to be toned down. We can see that they can't rebound and they go into massive shooting slumps. Maybe on Saturday keep your iPad off until 3:30 or so.
 
It's really sad that you aren't getting this. Team plays poorly for 12 minutes. You could have said "wow guys, we're really struggling right now" or "wonder what's going on with Bazz right now" (or, you know, at least restrain yourself until halftime) but instead you go with the broad generalization of "this team stinks," period, as if any productive or insightful thought or discussion could come from such an assertion. And then, your first backing sentence to such a baseless, idiotic, childishly reactionary statement is a declaration of how your point is not even up for debate.

Dude closes wins is the new thing in College Basketball. With the new rules for fouls close games are normal. Duke beat VERMONT by 1PT, #3 Ohio State by 3 over Notre Dame, Gonzaga lost by 10 to a TERRIBLE K- State team, #1 Arizona beat freaking Drexel by 4. that's just off the top of my head. So please follow sports alittle bit before you go on that rant. Especially on the road on a WEST COAST trip against a much better team then you think. But nice try watch some college games besides UConn and you will see not even CUNTucky beats everyone by 30.

It took you how long to come up with that one? That is honestly the best you can do? Just out of curiosity, do you think I picked your post to quote and ask how the game turned out because I didn't see it when I easily could find the score in about 100 different ways? Or is it more likely that I did in fact see the game and just wanted to mock you? Please don't bother asking, if the initial sarcasm was lost on you, I imagine this question is an absolute mind bender.

Maybe you took ESL in high school and that's fine, it's the world we live in. But if you truly were referring to point in time (which I doubt) you should have said in your OP, "this team stinks right now" or "gee we are playing sh1tty right now." Instead, you are back peddling like a mofo. In any case, happy holidays!

Are you 11? Have you watched basketball before? The heat were losing to the Kobe-less Lakers early in in their Christmas Day game! This is basketball, it happens to teams much better team ours. Just calm down your psychoses and give it a few minutes next time, let the game go before you hit the message board to let everyone know London bridge is falling
 
I spent Sunday in a birthing class with my wife and forgot to DVR the game so I came here to see if the good guys one. I saw the tittle of this thread and assumed the worst but than I took a second to remember where I was and checked the box score.

Looks like a heck of a game, not sure if the 8 hour birthing lecture was worth it.

To be hanged, drawn and quartered was a penalty in England for men convicted of treason. Convicts were fastened to a hurdle, or wooden panel, and drawn by horse to the place of execution, where they were hanged (almost to the point of death), emasculated, disemboweled, beheaded and quartered (chopped into four pieces). Their remains were often displayed in prominent places across the country, such as London Bridge.

I'd say that just about sums up the work performed here. The Boneyard lived up to its name;)
