Remember "Kemba and the kids?" Part of what made that run so special was Kemba's other worldly efforts in keeping a very young, albeit talented, team together for that run. Boat is in the same spot in a lot of ways with a deep thigh bruise to contend with as well. I think he's done a good job so far, given injuries and the surrounding personel.
It may not result in a NC, or a deep tourney run, hell, it may not result in a tournament berth but I think that I'm going focus Boat in his senior season and appreciate all he's doing to keep us in the hunt from here on out. If we catch lightening in a bottle again and make a decent run, great, but I'm not going let our struggles get in the way of appreciating what warrior Boat has been for us and the great career that he's had.
