UConn must reach a level where it can score - preferably touchdowns. Yes, today was an enjoyable change of pace, but need to be able to outscore opponents.
Missing Travis Jones played big in that I’m sure.To do that, you need to be able to win battles at the line of scrimmage. The opponent always seems to have that extra level of strength to get push, break tackles, while our guys too often go down on the first hit. Wyoming's line was too strong for UConn's line in the 4th qtr. They drove the ball down our throats on their last 2 TD drives - nothing fancy at all. We had to scramble & struggle to make plays to extend drives.
Baby steps - it was a great effort yesterday, but we need stronger & more skilled players in here to win at the FBS level.

No Omar Fortt as well. Defense stepped up but not having those two for the whole game made a difference.Yeah, I didn't know about that at the time sitting in the stands but that hurt us a lot.
