In the past 20 years, the Connecticut men’s and women’s programs are a combined 13-0 in the national title games, with two double championships (2004 and 2014) and at least one title in five of the past six seasons between the two programs.
Connecticut has five of the eight undefeated seasons in Division I women’s basketball history, capping the latest with a 40 – 0 effort
Connecticut’s nine championships are the most in Division I history
Only one school has won both men’s and woman’s titles in the same year – and has done this twice. That would be Connecticut.
