I am in providence for a few months to work on an account. Really surprised to see how irrelevant they are in their own market. Have yet to see a PC shirt or meet a PC alum. No one talks about PC basketball. Brown, Bryant and Johnson and Wales and even URI has more visibility.

Those banners that are hanging in the rafters are just replicas of the originals. I saw in an episode of Storage Wars where a couple of guys bought a bin that had the original banners sealed up in an old beat up cardboard box. They thought at first they had found something that might be valuable but they had them appraised and found out otherwise.

Pretty sure they bundled the pennants with an autographed picture of Roosevelt Bouie and sold the lot to a Cuse fan for ten bucks.
