Last seasons team was undefeated against teams that played exclusively man. They were basically impossible to stop. When teams went zone, we tried to flash AO, Chuck, Roscoe, etc and they all worked horribly. The team was still really good but they had no idea what to do vs. zone defenses. After the ND game, JC finally made JL the guy who flashed to the foul line vs. a zone and we started to shred the defense with ease (this is something most smart posters had been begging for for months). Soon after that, teams realized going zone was basically giving JL a free throw jumper and they went back to man, and we won the championship. Why is it hard to see that JL is the key to cracking the zone?
