Things I love to watch Nurse do

I'm seeing Kara Lawson everytime I see her play.

So, I'm not crazy to see a lot that's like a young Sue in her? I'll admit I was not a big Kia cheerleader before the season began, but the more I see her play, the more I like.

A young Shea Ralph. They both attack the basket the same way.

Why can't we let her be just Kia Nurse?..reminds of the time when I thought I would be the next John Havlicek..but I didn't get into Ohio State..and there will only be one Hondo..as there will only be one Kia Nurse.

With ease she moves like the breeze...
She is deft going to her left...
Showing might cutting to the right...
She penetrates and creates...
Charismatic, dramatic without creating new kid on the block static...
She stops, she pops and never flops...
Sees the floor and knows when to score or pass it off to one in the back door...

I was thinking the same thing while watching the Green Bay game. A Shea Ralph with more speed, and a bit better of an outside shot. Both have/had excellent body control in attacking the basket, and has Ralph's court sense with or without the ball, knowing how to anticipate and moving without the ball to get herself open.

At this point she should be, but she was so low profile as a recruit that I'm sure it will go to Wilson or Atkins...

She might not get freshman of the year, but I'm sure as far as Geno is concerned, he wouldn't want anyone else.

The best thing about Nurse is that she has "it." "It" is not easy to define. She is so calm on the court and never looks rattled or rushed. I agree that she has a Sue Bird quality about her.

Tuck is also very calm and she has a steady demeanor.

Nurse and Tuck in the starting lineup make UCONN a much better team and make them the best team in the nation. Stokes and Chong appear to be better coming off the bench than as starters. Having Nurse and Tuck in the starting lineup gives Geno a better rotation.

On the money......

Also would add her aggressiveness. She doesn't wait around if she doesn't things moving and attacks the rim.

Been reading people compare it to Sue Bird like and being a youngster who only remembers Birds senior season, I Iill take their word.

Bingo Dave. She is always attacking. This team needs an edge to it. Right now Kia is providing it the most.
