25 CIAC football players to watch in 2019
A.J. BARBER Sr., Greenwich: The Class LL champs were hit hard by graduation, but Barber’s back after catching 10 touchdown passes last year and throwing one in the state final. PHOENIX BILLI…www.gametimect.com
Rumor has it that Nick Henderson from Brookfield quit the team. Doesn't make any sense unless he's transferring elsewhere. He posted it to the team's message board last night.
For those who know, does Bogan -- the state 100M champion from Sheehan -- have offers? Is he too small to play Division 1 football? I'm always intrigued with that kind of speed, even if the player is on the small side.
He went on to win the New England 100m as well. Kid has BURNERS. Undersized but you can’t teach speed. Only current offer is Dartmouth.
How undersized? Can't be converted into a corner or a kick returner?
5’8 185ish
If he's truly that size, I'm really surprised no one wants to take him as an athlete and see what happens.

I completely agree. I am of the belief Edsall needs athletes. If he is truly playing the long game bring the best athletes in and redshirt all of them. If you can’t develop an all state back with 4.43 40 into some sort of role within your program than you shouldn’t be coaching. Unless I’m mistaken he’d be the fastest guy on the team the day he steps on campus.
are these the top 25 HS players, the top 25 college recruits, or both? Sometimes kids who are good at local HS level are simply not D1 material - which could be driven by a variety of factors. Said differently, which of the 25 might/should be recruits?
There won't be any public details but I got the story so PM me if you're interested. He's a good kid, wasn't anything he did.Yeah Gametime covered this today. No details but he is off the program.
Carr, Bogan, and Corniello could help us
That's bigger than Larry Taylor and slightly smaller than Terry Caulley. Get speed.5’8 185ish
Hrubiec (Jr) was on both the Courant and GameTime CT “Players to Watch” list.
