... and here is the GameTime CT version:
Rumor has it that Nick Henderson from Brookfield quit the team. Doesn't make any sense unless he's transferring elsewhere. He posted it to the team's message board last night.

Yeah Gametime covered this today. No details but he is off the program.

For those who know, does Bogan -- the state 100M champion from Sheehan -- have offers? Is he too small to play Division 1 football? I'm always intrigued with that kind of speed, even if the player is on the small side.

He went on to win the New England 100m as well. Kid has BURNERS. Undersized but you can’t teach speed. Only current offer is Dartmouth.

If he's truly that size, I'm really surprised no one wants to take him as an athlete and see what happens.
I completely agree. I am of the belief Edsall needs athletes. If he is truly playing the long game bring the best athletes in and redshirt all of them. If you can’t develop an all state back with 4.43 40 into some sort of role within your program than you shouldn’t be coaching. Unless I’m mistaken he’d be the fastest guy on the team the day he steps on campus.

are these the top 25 HS players, the top 25 college recruits, or both? Sometimes kids who are good at local HS level are simply not D1 material - which could be driven by a variety of factors. Said differently, which of the 25 might/should be recruits?

It is CIAC schools only so there are no prep kids listed either by the Courant or GameTime CT so it's a bit of a reach to say it's the Top 15/25 players in CT.

Pyne (ND) and Joyner (BC) held UConn offers. There is UConn interest in a few others (Barber, Bogan, Bryden,Simpson, etc..) but none have known offers that I'm aware of except for Hand QB Billings who committed to Jim Penders for baseball.
