Breanna Stewart, who has helped UConn to a 66-game winning streak and three consecutive national championships, is one of six seniors on the Wooden Award top 15 list of finalists, which was released Friday.

Stewart, who won the award last year, is averaging 19.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season. She is one of three Huskies on the list. Senior Moriah Jefferson (13.1 PPG, 5.4 APG) and junior Morgan Tuck (12.3 PPG) also made the top 15.

If there is ever any award that could and should be awarded right now it's this one. There are some very good players on the list but even us Card fans know that there is only one person deserving of the Wooden Award this year and that's Brianna Stewart. We're just glad she's finally graduating (big sigh).
