As Geno pointed out when doing color commentary in Minnesota, Brunson--not Taurasi--won the BE FOY award in 2001.

I saw Brunson play at Georgetown. She stood out in terms of size, strength, and athleticism, even compared with our great 2002 team. I wasn't sure about her shooting, but she sure looked like a stud.
