I think you could easily add Ricky here as well.

Which other UConn players would you add?

Adama. No shade to Jordan but I thought he should have been MOP of the West Regional, in addition to that of the Final Four. He averaged 19.7 and 9.8 in six games, and miraculously turned into Magic against Gonzaga with 6 assists.

I’m kinda surprised that Shabazz is higher than Kemba . Kemba had talent but they were so young . 2014 had 3 other great shooters , and the core played together 3 or 4 years . A much. Smarter team simply because of the experience.
Shsbazz could actually sit for a couple of minutes ? Kemba couldn’t sit he played 2 to rest him . Although Kemba was gassed by the final 11 tough games in 3 weeks
Although the 2014 had to
Beat the A10 Champs
The Big East Champs
The Big 12 Champs
The Big 10 Champs
The SEC Chsmps
The Hottest team in the tourney loaded with talent .
I’m not sure anyone in history ever had a schedule like that .

Champs equal conference or tournament

Bazz higher than Kemba is a joke..

Sweep the BE tournament then the NCAA with multiple key player as freshman and sophomores.

Sorry Bazz lovers but Kemba’s run was much more..

I'm sure all of those Bazz lovers despise Kemba, so you really got "us"

It was weird how they listed 1 game instead of Kemba's whole run.

I know it was a bit more than 25 years ago, but Bo Kimble’s performance in the 1990 tournament following the death of his friend Hank Gathers would likely be high on the list if it was in the time frame mentioned. The dude was making free throws left handed. He played out of his mind.

What about the Alabama game in 2004 when Gordon and Rashad both went off. Gordon had 36 and Rashad had 28 on 6 off 9 from 3! They basically put the game away by halftime.

They were similar NCAA runs. Both guys just dominated. Kemba did it through the Big East tourney too, which makes his extra special.

Okafor dominating Duke
Okafor is still the most dominant UConn player I've seen in the tourney. He couldn't be denied. Rip and Caron are a close second.

Kemba 4th, maybe tied with Shabazz.

Okafor sits the 1st half against Duke and then ripped that game right out of their hands. I don't think anyone else could've done it.

If you extend the question back to the 1970s, Bill Walton played the best NCAA-title game ever. 44 points, he made 21 of 22 shots, and pulled down 13 rebounds against Memphis State.

They ranked NCAA tournament runs. Which makes the BET irrelevant for their ranking.

Their criteria is individual performances in an individual NCAA tournament game based on stakes of the game, the opponent, memorable moments...

It makes it all the more confusing how Donte DiVincenzo isn't even on the list when his performance should be top 5. He absolutely dominated the national championship game while coming off the bench and had all sorts of memorable jawdropping plays.
