See #15. Skip over #9. Still hurts me to this day.

I had to laugh at this line in #26.

On the ACC side, let's check in Miami's never won a football conference title since joining, Virginia Tech has been erratic at best and BC might be the biggest loser of any power-conference team to switch leagues in the past two decades.

You know what I say? ---- you BC.

Certain programs winning titles under certain circumstances wind up carrying more narrative weight. UConn's destruction of the tournament two years in a row is a level of supremacy we may never see again.

This page is completely unreadable on my phone with the litany of ads loading. I was enjoying it but had tap out so early.

Obviously that’s common on the internet but I’ve noticed this with cbssports articles where it’s so many ads that the page can’t handle it and repeatedly refreshes. What a pit.

I was curious about the ads so I just clicked on the article on my phone and there were only 2 ads in the entire body of the article (which is pretty long). They didn't get in the way of reading the article at all. Maybe there's a setting on your phone that is causing that?

Pretty in depth detail rather than just a list. A good walk back memory lane. Conference realignments and loss of amateurism are as big as it gets. Including a detailed recap of North Carolina getting away with academic fraud is satisfying to me. Covid affects and mentions of the FBI investigations into under the table recruiting payments. The Baylor murder story. I don't think Zion Williamson should have a place on the list unless the house and other goodies are part of the story. Instead of Williamson, I might add the impact of Coaches collectively supporting Cancer research for 25 years with games, fundraising, and TV exposure. Quick comments from Vitale could probably identify concrete results from that work in a paragraph. The use of the sport as the platform for this effort I think meets the criteria of the list. #@$%%@ BC!!

My phone is the same way, I was up to 11 ads and hadn't even made it through the first 4 stories on the list

#15 is of course our favorite.

But much appreciation to the OP for posting this; had not seen it and it's a good, fun read.

Could be. It was on the Safari app on an iphone on ATT. Maybe all of those factor in. It’s beyond me.

Reading through this brings up things you forget…like OSCAR TSHIEBWE being the national POY?!?!

I was also using Safari on an iPhone but with Verizon.
We’re isolating variables now! Dastardly ATT has my finger pointed at it for the moment. Although Xfinity was the ISP so that could be part of it too; also filtered through ExpressVPN.

2004 team left out, 2011 team with Kemba's run left out, 2014 team that beat Mich State, Florida and Kentucky left out.

All of UConn's titles in the 2000's were special in some way. Some of the ones on this list are bogus, but it's CBS

Comparing Reed's rate stats from last season to Tshiebwe's from his POY season are not that far apart. He's going to have monster stats with more minutes.
