I think Molly is wonderful in many ways and aspects of life. I just don't ever see her being or becoming a significant player at UConn.
There are numerous players, here and elsewhere who were superb in HS but couldn't or can't play at this level or speed.
I believe she will give it everything she has but I think her athleticism at this level is limited.
The mental aspect of the game is often as or more important than the physical. More than a year and a half in, I see moments of improvement but no evidence of any consistency.
I think while she is amongst the hardest workers to play here, she also probably gets and accepts and is ok with her abilities, limitations and potential.
Every really nice, bright, hard working, like able person doesn't excel here. Reminds me of Natalie Butler, whose making a huge impact at a mid level program. I think Molly loves the challenge, the culture and comraderie here, and is an addition because of who she is.
