In the first half TOs were called perfectly. The defense couldn't tackle on a give up play after the first TO on third and eight. But the call was absolutely right.

In the second half, the TOs were husbanded to save one for the final drive. Not spiking the ball was not the sidelines fault. The freshman made the mistake by not getting lined up.

I liked that Boyle was deliberate. He just made a freshman mistake.

If any of our receivers could catch it wouldn't have come to TO or clock management. They were the problem not clock management.

Calling timeout in the first half on third down with 3 minutes left is just plain stupid.

When they are at their own 3 yard line you have all day. All it does it give them time to call a play and if they convert you've screwed yourself.

Beyond stupid but par for the course.

TJ was bad at the end of both halves. I'm rooting for him, but he hurt himself with the timeouts and the non spike.

Guys and gals, can we please look at this game objectively? Please? We all want UCONN to succeed. We all want Coach Weist to succeed, and we all want homegrown Tim Boyle to succeed. But this was not a good day for UCONN football. And it stings.
