Last nite was amazing. Stewie then Tuck on the bench and UConn didn't miss a beat. How many teams can do that? UConn does it because they play as a team and because they play as a team they can plug players in with less talent but who can execute within Genos system and be successful. Think about this. If we played ND and Loyd and Turner sat with foul trouble how much of a chance would ND have? But UConn is still successful because they play as a team within Genos plays. UConn doesn't depend on one player or two players. Within the UConn system everybody can be successful and with better talent the team becomes better. The ole saying there is no "I" in team is what UConn is all about. KML will set the 3 pt record and do it by playing unselfishly. It continues to amaze me how well UConn players execute year after year. There aren't any teams that can beat UConn only UConn can beat themselves. All these coaches brainwashing recruits into thinking they can beat UConn I say how bout just competing with UConn. How bout coming within double digits of UConn? It aint happenin for a long time. UConn may lose, they did in Palo Alto. They didn't play their game and not playing their game had little to do with Stanford. Barring another Fluke UConn will win number 10 this year and number 11 next year. This is a team in the true sense with so much talent that opponents cant compete with. On to Albany. I wish I could be there but this is tax season and we very busy.
