We can't take back 0-4. We can't forget losses to FCS and horrible MAC teams.
But - we can go into the USF game with HOPE. Hope that Foley is back at the helm on the O-line, and we can once again learn how to block. Hope that an unchained Weist can be something better than #120 or so in offense. Hope that Hughes understands the on-the-job interview he gets for 8 games. Hope that the players embrace the change as a second chance to make something this season - for the seniors, the team, the university, fans and the state of Connecticut.
If we continue to play poorly - well, there is no doubt we'll be cleaning house with a new set of coaches. Manuel will have a jump on the coaching search. No harm, no foul - one big mulligan. If we win, well that's just a good problem to have. We all get to actually enjoy a few games this year and feel like things might just possibly turn around for our Huskies. It all starts again today.
