Washington has waked up. And Seattle has not gone to sleep. Looks like this will be an intense battle. 15-11 Seattle halfway thru Q1. Bird & Stewie are “on.”

Is this the game thread? I'm so confused! Next two minutes may mean the game. 21-14. Oops, 23-14. Time out.
 
I know Sue is hot right now, but I don't think mikeing players is a great idea.

Seattle was up as much as 12 but Delle Donne going to the FT line, can cut the lead to 1. Storm haven't scored in a while.
 
Did everybody catch Sue's "granny" sneakers? That's kinda funny.

It doesn’t help Seattle when Loyd starts launching her almost-mid-court quick shots. She needs to do what she can, not what she obviously cannot.
 
Mystics have had 4 chances to take the lead, finally did it.

Stewie started out red hot but she's cooled off, Loyd is invisible (1-4 FTs) and Bird isn't playing very well. Momentum is on the side of Washington, they are playing with more energy.
 
Delle Donne and Tolliver are both playing much better than game 1, not surprisingly resulting in a more closely contested game so far.

I agree. When she’s off she’s an asset in terms of passing and rebounding but when she’s off shooting, it doesn’t get better.
 
40-36 Washington at the half. Terrible 2nd quarter for the Storm. Ugly.

She should be. Loyd is giving them nothing. Whitcomb scored 5 quick points in a brief stint.
