I don't know why this piece waited to now to surface. A short piece and a podcast about the Team USA journey this year, with a focus on Phee.
For me Phee late in the podcast gave us a real nugget. "Dee for example, Diana...she could be a coach right now. When we go in the locker room she is our coach. She's drawing stuff on the board and telling us where we need to be and we listen to her as if she is our coach...." Around 6:45.
Though who paid attention this year know that Dawn was the Coach, but in every respect it was D's team.
