Yes, indeed, her shooting still isn't where we know it can be, but (like Kelly) she was able to have a huge impact on the game despite that.

When Bria doesn't take a lot of shots, her game is really quite similar to Kelly's -- lots of hustle, steals, and rebounds that you would never expect someone of her size to get. Her defense isn't at the level of Kelly's yet, but the rest of her floor game is very close.

Go Bria...............
Yeah, she did and other than a couple of turnovers she played very good. Her confidence is returning just in time for the big one.

Her defense on McBride was outstanding. Interesting choice for Geno to make, and I think the fact that Bria was smaller (and annoying) helped a lot.

Also, she was fouled on a lot of those drives to the basket. Hopefully as a senior she'll get those calls.

She wanted the ball, wanted to make plays. It was good to see.

As great as Stewart played, the defense by Hartley on McBride and Faris on Diggins was unbelievable. The overall team D made sure that their 2 All-Americans were not going to get clean looks.

She has had a different tone the whole tournament. The ankle may, finally, have been feeling good and reliable. Whatever she has definitely bounced back.

Great defense, good for her still making an impact even when she's not scoring. Hopfuly next year she gets her confidence back, and be that 20 point scorer we know and love. Next year she will lead us to a 9-0 Nat record ( yes I think we will beat UL, and I don't think it'll be hard :-) )

I still don't think we have seen the same Bria we will see next fall, or that we saw last year before the summer ankle injury. Her attitude and determination is there (check Geno's presser) but physically I think she is still a little diminished. Still, she played with great heart and made some big plays as always. I also agree that she worked her a*s off on defense !

MOJO!!!!!!!

The turning point for the entire team might have been the FTF player only meeting they had before the tournament started and they each called out. They stopped feeling sorry for themselves and played for each other as a team.........

Goodnight Louisville!!

I agree. Diggins couldn't catch Hartley when Hartley went on a break last season. Bria's still fast..but not like she was.
