Not sure how missed this one.
Who knew Cindy Lou Who was all grown up and fronting a rock band?

Just downloaded the 2016 album Who You Selling For. Solid up and down. Taylor Momsen writes the lyrics and for someone who was doing this in her early 20's after a career in acting and modeling, it's plenty good enough.

I stumbled onto them a few years ago. Not a lot of female fronted hard rock/heavy metal bands in the U.S. Halestorm is another good one.

The Pretty Reckless' debut Light Me Up is a bit hit or miss, but has a few really good tracks--Make Me Wanna Die and Just Tonight are the standouts to me.



Dang, Taylor was only about 16 when the band formed! Plenty of Hollywood people dabble in music on the side, but she quit acting altogether and dedicated herself completely to making music.
