UConn played in the Big East when they were in the AAC. Very few Big East schools play field hockey.

Congrats to Women's Field Hockey!

They are 11-1 so far. Only one team scored on them this season. In back-to-back games in Philly in mid-March, UConn beat Liberty 3-2 on Saturday and lost 4-0 on Sunday. All 10 other games were shutouts, with an aggregate score of 50-0. Domination!
