This one was very popular for cover songs for a while. Took it in all different directions, hard rock/metal, punk, acapella. I never heard a cover I liked better than the original. All the more amazing because she was only 16 or so at the time. When I was that age...I certainly wasn't writing and performing global smash hits.

Not that I've heard many covers of this, but when I did I was just "nah, why even touch this song?" It's absolute perfection as is, no need to redo it, reimagine it, tinker with it, etc.
