How he has so many friends in the business is just insane.

When was the last time a team got BETTER during his time there ? Seriously...when ???

How will we know if the Browns get worse?
as a Browns fan I was like OH S H IT, that lasted a second until I reminded myself we suck so bad no one would notice! Too bad for the Oline guys!

At first when I read it I was thinking Ivy League Brown.

Never occurred to me that an NFL team would hire him. Then again, it's the Browns, not a real NFL team.

Oh my God. I'm a diehard 49ers fan who had to endure two seasons with Jimmy Raye as offensive coordinator. Let me tell you, that guy's offensive scheme made DeLeone's look like the Oregon Ducks.

I feel awful for Cleveland fans that the Browns somehow inherited both of those guys.

Did not even realize the offensive line coach needed an assistant?

And every mock draft I see has the Browns taking a QB in the 1st round. I wonder if we'll see a John Elway/Eli Manning deal where a player refuses to play for that mess of an organization. Not to mention, they are going to get absolutely clobbered behind GDL's zone blocking nonsense. Too bad, because I've always felt that the Browns' fanbase is a good one and deserves better than what they've gotten.

As a Bengals fan, I'm tickled pink

Let's make a mental note for down the road (10-20 years I hope) when we're looking for a coach. When a candidate is said to be a well-respected NFL coach, it means nothing. Based on the the last two guys here, it means less than nothing.

Time flies!!! I remember when Jimmy Raye out of PA. was the #1 QB recruit in the country. Went to MSU i believe.

Makes me wonder...GDL is 65. The incoming 'Senior' Offensive Assistant Raye is 67. And the new OC Kyle Shanahan is 34. The only thing is that I'm not sure what it makes me wonder...

After this new broke, Cleveland’s quarterback(s) for 2014 should sign-on as spokesmen for the Cleveland Clinic because they will be visiting soon and often.
