this whole tourney has been determined by officiating aside from a few games and blow outs. Kept Delaware in the tourney before they got beat. Now this. Bad double tech call. Bad foul call on slaughter. Letting Baylor do what they want without repercussion for the most part.

The NCAA has to deal with these terribly officiated games. The favoritism shown to specific teams has to stop. It demeans the entire game.

But we know the NCAA will do nothing.

NCAA is in a tough position re officials as they have no control over them until tourney time. Not sure how the pool is selected, but I think they get nominations from all the conferences based on the grading the conferences do of their officials during the year.

the disparity in fouls means zip, and you know that. Louisville was hacking the heck out of Griner early, and could have gotten more called.

Only way officiating across the board improves - cause it sucks in the men's game and the NBA and the WNBA -- is money. And certainly, on the women's side, none of the conferences are interested in spending it.
