Ron Johnson doesn't have the most impressive numbers, but he's the first big power back threat we've had since Andre Dixon. It's refreshing to see a big guy out there in the backfield.

Clearly-improved play from the offense has come at the expense of practice time for Special Teams. I'm sure specials will be given some more practice time this week. Have to like the way the team has shown up thus far!
 
Offense is attacking. Defense is going after Mizzou. I like it.
 
Nice series from both defense and offense, but at this point, special teams is an abject failure. And it is definitely not just the kickers/punters.

If someone was watching this game without knowing which team is which, you would have to say UConn is the better team on the field right now.

They looked very beatable when I watched them against AK State. Not a juggernaut by any means especially offensively.
 
I am going to assume that the officiating crew is from the AAC. They must be vying for officiating positions in the SEC.

Looking with a glass half full, just imagine how good this team/program will get when we can block for punter/kicker and we actually attempt to rush a punter and/or return a punt!
 
Can't believe I am saying this, but we should not blitz until Mizzou adjusts. Mauk looks gun shy after last int.
 
Would love to see a nice drive here.
