Adams made that buzzer shot he refused help up from the one guy who came over and then going off the floor nobody patted his butt slapped him on the shoulder, Nothing. Nobody even looked at him. It's called wanting to win, Bazz got blasted for it his sophomore season and we sucked about 1/10th of how much we suck this season. If Bazz had to deal with this group as a soph and share a backcourt with Rodney he probably would have taken a swing on a teammate by now.

I just texted my buddy the same thing. Hands down not even close one of the worst offensive guards we have ever and I mean ever had.

Brimah isn't playing awful. Two no shows by Purvis and Adams. It's a good thing Memphis sucks or we'd be down 50.

They're both terrible. Purvis should back up Vital, Brimah shouldn't play until Enoch and Durham are in foul trouble.

Luckily we are banished to CBS Sports Network next 2 games....
 
KO wants an inside game but we can't make an entry pass. But it's ok because we can't shoot either.

We should turn into lmu style chuckers 45 3s a game. Some games we will get lucky.

It can't be worse than what we do now. We can't shoot can't pass. Take first semi open 3
 
unwatchable basketball. How many times have Jalen and CV just thrown the ball away against no pressure. I have never seen a combination of such poor shooting, defense, passing and awareness by an entire team. I really love these guys as kids but got they have got to figure something out.

He did it again at 16:05. Comes off a screen, catches the ball with 8 feet of space between him and his defender. No one around to even contest.

And what does he do?

Put the ball on the floor, dribble, and take two steps backwards. Let Memphis reset their defense entirely and the whole possession turned into a cluster&#@k.

Agreed. This is a game where every one of our guards is putting up a stinker. Our bigs aren't the major problem tonight...

Most painful year to watch since. . . . . . early 80's. maybe Calhoun's 86-87 team.
 
I have already told you guys that our big guys are our strength and its laughable that some are criticizing Brimah. Brimah has 5 point and 11 rebounds and Kentan had 8 pts and 4 rebounds. Brimah is a NBA caliber player and believe me we are lucky to have him or we would be a lot worse. Rodney has been a HUGE swing and miss for Ollie as he has been an albatross of bad play for us. Kevin Ollie has lost the team and we will be lucky to get to 10 wins the way we look. We should use the rest of the season to audition Brimah to the NBA. Without HAMI we are not turning anything around this year.
 
It's at the point where I am VERY scared about this program. Lack of talent, lack of basketball IQ, lack of any senior leadership on the court (Brimah hasn't been awful, which is a plus when he's just "not awful."). Also coaching, we are getting blown out game after game, at some point coaching needs to be questioned. I'll give Ollie a pass for this year though bc of the injuries.

Don't even get me started on Purvis. Never questioned his heart, but he may be the worst guard I've ever seen both skill wise and IQ wise.
 
I'm happy the narrative is injuries though. Keep the narrative going and CBB history will forget this season.

Purvis finally shoots an open 3-pointer -- his first of the night -- and that idiot Elmore says "Purvis is settling right now, he has the ability to get into the lane, get high percentage shots and get to the line. But that 3-pointer looks so good to him right now so he takes too many of them."

Kill me.
 
I have never seen anyone throw the ball away like this team.

Facey brimah and Adams have been the only contributors. Purvis needs to sit. Adams is exhausted. I dgaf about freshmen mistakes. I care about Rodney shooting threes and throwing the ball out of bounds while dribbling. Great kid but not helping Adams. I can live with freshmen mistakes

and can anyone explain to me those passes? seriously? I don't even know what I'm looking at

Purvis is lackadaisical. Vance and vital are working their asses off
