Triple Lindy!Too Lindor too late
I want Baez back and I hope the Mets do, too.2022 with Lindor and no Baez would have to really change my mind to accept that.
I feel like it has to happen from all sides, Baez has wanted to be playing next to Lindor for a few years and we can make that happen. And the Mets are going to want to justify giving up a top prospect for him after missing the playoffsI want Baez back and I hope the Mets do, too.
And I think he adds value to Lindor, and vice versa. Ever since the thumbs down debacle Baez has been on fire, and I love that he has cut down on his strikeouts and increased his walks. Most of all I love that he is a joy to watch play.I feel like it has to happen from all sides, Baez has wanted to be playing next to Lindor for a few years and we can make that happen. I haven't seen it yet. I've read 6 books on that team and seen every other documentary about the team and the Doc/Straw stuff. I'd be pretty surprised if there was anything I didn't know or hadn't seen.Btw, has no one else watched "Once Upon a Time in Queens" yet?
I loved it, as much as a time capsule as anything else. I was a student at UConn then and remember the 1986 playoffs very well.
Amazing how talented that team was (starting in 1984), despite the dysfunction and incredibly hard partying--especially drug use.
