Two more jacks tonight.

Yankee fans have heard his name for what seems like 4 years. Maybe 5. He is in his 7th season in the Yankees organization.

In 2015 he hit 25 minor league home runs.

Called up on August 2nd he hit his first ML homer on August 10th. He jacked 18 and 19 tonight. People are saying AL ROY.

Dude has 19 jacks in his first 45 games. No one has hit more in their first 45.

Needs his own thread.

And the 2nd time around the league, they'll find the hole in his swing....

This is a little more than a small sample. He certainly will not continue this pace but the holes in this swing are very small. Hits it where its pitched and also adjust after1-2 AB's to the pitchers too, smart kid. With good health I would guess .280-.300/25/90 guy at least

Major league pitchers will find a weakness and exploit it but Sanchez is a good enough hitter to adjust as long as he doesn't fall in love with the HR. He looks like the real deal to me.

Nice little sample AB last night against the lefty from TB. He waved at 2 bad pitches, off speed curve balls and K'd. Next AB did wave at another but then showed patience and smarts, good AB and got a walk. Going to be a pretty good one, how good is the question for a while.

I don't think so. This guy is a solid defensive catcher with a tremendous arm. He won't keep posting these kind of numbers but I can see .275, 30 HR & 90 RBI.

Watch how he takes tough close pitches. of course he's gonna come down from those numbers but he has a nice swing and loaded with power, quick bat. I see him catching 4 days a week and DHing the rest. Hopefully MCann catches and is the other DH the rest of the time. The other thing is that he hits it where pitched so a shift is less likely. Last night picked a runner off second base.

Not even close. In his first year in AAA, Sanchez was 22 and 5 years younger than the average player at that level, and he put up an .848 OPS. Kevin Maas put up similar numbers in his first exposure to AAA - an .873 OPS - put he was only 2 years younger than the average player at that level. He also didn't have to think about the effort it takes to be the everyday catcher.

He looks like the real deal.

Sox fans may have decade plus to fear him whenever he comes up.

Damn....
