There is something to be said for that. He can be super streaky and get lost at times, but he can carry you for a week also. He’s actually a pretty solid glove I think. He’s prone to misplay a towering foul ball where he has to run backwards or sometimes sail a throw to the pitcher or catcher but he picks the ball nicely and has made some nice stops on some scorchers.
