In the top half of Division 1, I believe realignment is pretty much over. There is one exception to that: the CAA.
I believe the CAA wants to go to 14 and will add a non-football school: Fairfield.
Next up is the Horizon. They add Bellarmine to get back to 12.
The Atlantic Sun adds Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech to get back to 12.
The Southland adds Angelo State (D2) to get to 9.
The OVC adds Grand Valley State (D2) and Chicago State to get to 10.
The America East adds Quinnipiac and Bryant to get back to 10. As an aside, part of the deal is that Quinnipiac joins Hockey East after Maine, UNH, UVM go to bat for them.
The MAAC then adds Mt. St. Mary's and Merrimack to get back to 10.
The NEC completes realignment by adding New Haven (D2) and Bentley (D2) to get to 9.
This results in 364 schools.
