22 NCAA tournament games won in a row, that is. Tennessee set the record at 21 after three-peating from 1996-98 and getting as far as the regional finals in 1999 before losing to Duke. By making the Final Four, Uconn has broken a 17-year-old Lady Vol record.

Two other records remain:

• Pat's 1,098 total victories. Geno is at 1,053 now.
• Pat's 18 Final Four appearances. This was Number 17 for Uconn.
