Yes, obviously winning a bunch of championships and now getting to an 8th Final Four (and 3rd in 4 years) puts us up there.

But finding ourselves in the last weekend after a season that didn't really blow anyone away, where the bracket didn't just fall apart in front of us, and we found ways to beat other elite programs - as if there's an air of inevitability or "here we go again" or "of course they did" -- that signifies we belong.

I appreciate you saying this, but the question, "Is you UConn Basketball a blue blood?" jumped the shark a long time ago. I considered them a blue blood before the back to back titles in 2023 and 2024, but those back to back titles in such dominating fashion sealed the deal and put the nail in the coffin on that question. This is why I never really posted here when this question is raised.

Yes, my point isn't that this is what finally puts us in that group.

But this is the sort of thing, and in fact, arguably, something we haven't done before, that is A Thing Blue Bloods Do.

.-.
UCLA - MSU - Duke

Can't think of a harder 3-game stretch in March.

That's legendary.

Oh, and Kansas was in waiting just in case...

Insanely stacked region and then throw in St. Johns just for **** and giggles because why not.

If we are not a blue blood it’s because we’ve redefined what that term means and have created our own hemisphere.
