The Lineup of the Future

Between 11:26 and 10:02 of the first half, we saw a bloody efficient line-up play beautiful trap, run and find, classic UConn BB and complete a 7-0 run in 73 seconds (according to the TV folks).

Guards: BB and Mo Jeff, Kelly and KML at the forwards and Stewie at Center (positions approximate).

They trapped, stole (twice), completed breaks, assisted and shot 3's in the best UConn style ending with Bank's charge against call and the related injury.

Banks was in the middle of all of it; the catalyst really, a real shame she was hurt.

I hope that's the lineup of the future. I'd love for Kelly to have 7 years of eligibility.

The 2 freshmen and 2 sophs did well.

Geno noticed it too...Actually less than 2 minutes

I think both Brianna Banks and Moriah Jefferson gave us a big lift when they came into the game. The game changed a little bit and for that one little spurt, it only lasted three or four minutes, we really had the game going the way we wanted to." (Fuller)
