Do you think the sportswriters covering the Kingston regional are looking forward to the press conferences of Geno, Matt Mitchell and Kelly Graves? Oh, and sprinkle a little Samarie Walker in to the mix.

No offense to Coquese Washington, but I suspect she'll be less quotable than the other three. Should be fun.

Nice subject line!

I like their recording that pays tribute to the UConn defense: "Where Have All the Scorers Gone?"

I'm hoping for Denver, John that is. "Colorado Rocky Mountain High" scorer (your favorite Husky here).

John Stewart of the Kingston Trio wrote the Monkees' big hit "Daydream Believer," and I'm sure that there will be a few big dreams being weaved there on Sunday and Tuesday.

"I glad to say, they on they way
Down to de Rhode Island, next Sun-day.
So don't look for dem in town, dey won't be hangin around
Dey got to go an kick some butt in Kingston Town"
PL

Then that MTA song, dedicated to Samarie Walker: "The (wo)man who never returned."

Coquese is very low key. That includes standing on the sidelines.
