Pro tip - if you are a bazillionaire and you've probably killed a few people, don't go on a television show about how you probably killed a few people.

Sure does play into the idea that psychopaths want to get caught.

But yeah, this show was phenomenal. Great storytelling and jaw dropping endings to the final three episodes - something you wouldn't expect from a non-fiction story.

This whacko got off on trying to prove to everyone he was smarter than them. He murdered three people and got away with it for decades but it's pretty clear he wanted the attention and wanted to get caught now. Watching the show I think the detectives in NY must have been paid off after Durst killed his wife. There is just no way detectives could be that stupid, they took Durst at his word and never even really investigated her disappearance.
