I was there too. The weather was perfect, it was a great day! It was really interesting watching players struggle with the wind gustsWent yesterday and had a great time. My feet on the other hand will be recovering from over 20,000 steps!
I believe Buck caddied for a pro in the same foursome when Ray Allen caddied for JC in the Celebrity Pro-Am in the mid 90s.We got a UConn connection to Augusta National.
Ricky Moore attended high school in Augusta. I remember reading that Jim Calhoun
went down there to speak at Ricky's graduation. I assume Ricky had already committed to UConn.
BTW: Ricky would work at the golf club during The Masters. JC got a very nice perk on that visit.
Ricky's Dad [Buck Moore] was a caddy at the club...also a caddy on the PGA tour at times.
I believe that Buck arranged with a member to play with JC...JC's first round at Augusta. I suspect
Buck knew of some members who were big hoop fans and would enjoy playing with JC. A non-
member had to play with a member...that was their rule back then and I suspect it still is.
Nice trade-off: JC...avid golfer...gets to play at Augusta...and a couple of hoop fans get to hear JC
tell funny stories about big-time college ball.
The tournament has become a test of mastering 3 different weather conditions. I would love for Fleetwood to get his first win were.Rain softening up the course. Be on the 58 or 59 outlook. Scores will be real low today, especially if the get lift, clean, place.
Where the heck can I watch live action right now at noon? I don't have ESPN+
I think one needs ESPN+ for this.PGA Tour website has live video.
What inclement weather? Heat?
It was gone when I got up, the deck was wet. I guess I read too fast, I saw inclement weather and I just assumed it meant something coming in.Didn't it rain over night and in to the morning?
There have been much worse chokes, but Fleetwood certainly let this one get away. Switching to the wedge on the last hole did not help either. Very indecisive in the last few holes. But Keegan had some very nice long putts to deserve the win.Fleetwood with an epic choke.

Shout out to Jason Day who had some nice shots too. That chip into the cup was special.
Making bogey from the middle of the fairway on 18 in ideal weather conditions is as big of a choke as you can do. His crappy third shot on a simple uphill shot was equally as bad.
Ideal weather conditions is questionable. The wind was tricky at times. No doubt Fleetwood screwed up but not an epic choke in my book. Need to give Keegan credit as well. That was a beautiful nine iron on the last hole.
He just misses that late putt and then gets a bogey. That's two shots right there. He was 7-1 around 1 o'clock. I invested some of my Castle money.Shout out to Jason Day who had some nice shots too. That chip into the cup was special.
it’s a good finish as 15-18 are all birdie/bogey opportunities.Travelers has compelling finishes more often than not.
You're right, you win. There was no tricky wind. He had a straight on pitching wedge to a large green. He parred it each of the first three rounds in worse weather. And with the tournament in his hands, he choked it away.
