Crazy race today. Scott Dixon lost it by committing a pit lane violation. Drivers from 15 countries competed. Swede Marcus Ericsson won by holding off Pato O'Ward in the final lap.

If you told me 5 years ago that Marcus Ericsson would win the Indy 500 and Sergio Perez would win Monaco then I would ask you what you were smoking.

Ganassi cars clearly were the car to be in yesterday. Palou was also probably quicker than Ericsson but he was penalized as well. I thought that penalty was kind of stiff, he was in the process of entering the pits and they closed just as he was entering. Maybe they should have had him just drive through but he still probably would have run out of fuel, so I guess maybe they shouldn't have pushed the window.

It seemed like cars really struggled to get through traffic yesterday.
