There were Rutgers fans there. But not too many. Even when they cheered I could barely hear them on the other side of the stadium when our side went silent.

I'd say 1000. Filled roughly the equivalent of two sections in corner, maybe 3

Their season ticket base is about 22,000 for a 52,000 seat stadium. They don't travel well to their own stadium.

I say 500 tops and I tried to find Rutgers AL and he could not be found. I did find Rutgers Coach Flood...Nice Guy. In fact all the Rutgers people where nice, even when I was walking around the vistor section looking for Rutgers AL

Many of what they probably thought were Rat fans are simply our casuals wearing Red Sox apparel. There was a lot of them today sad to say. I hope someday they get it. Same problem when playing Louisville.....
Over all there was a smattering of R fans. Nothing like Iowa ST a couple of years ago, now there is a team that traveled well..... That and kicked our unlike Rutgers today...............

I'd also say less than 1K. I remember two years ago the Rutgers section looked significantly more full than it did today.
