Before fall camp we lost our best pass rusher for the season to academics.
In camp we lost our top WR for the season with a broken foot.
Seven minutes into game one, we lost our top QB for the season.
Ten minutes into game one, we lost our top remaining WR for the season.

That will be a lot to overcome. Every team has injuries. But that is a heavy duty hit. When I saw Christain Haynes limping off the field, it had a here-we-go-again feel to it. Hope he is feeling better.

How is Matt Drayton's status? He was one of our starters a couple years ago. Would like to see him get some action.

He's listed on the participation report as playing.. I'd assume predominantly on special teams as he wasn't targeted.

I don't have any statistical proof, but I'm convinced that turf playing surfaces are the root of all that is evil. Don't think it'd help with Marion's injury, but just seems like everyone's feet stick in turf and tear ACLs.

Don’t lump academic ineligibility in with injuries. There is not much anyone can do to prevent injuries. The same is not true for academic ineligibility.
