Will be good motivation for next year to get the bitter taste out of their mouths.

Larrier, Purvis, Adams, Hamilton, Enoch, Facey, Brimah, plus the incoming freshman. I like next years group so will just take an AAC championship and a good game against CU and look ahead.

Tough to win without rebounding, or scoring, or defending much.

Our D effort was mostly good, they were just making shots and passing well, although we needed to do a better job on D boards (and o boards.) (and shooting.) (and making them pay for overplaying our wings.)(and shot selection.)(and not fouling.)

More good shot selection by nervous at 11 point deficit

I don't mind that one. Hamilton wasn't in the game and he was the only one making shots.

Bogus fouls prevented defense, coupled with Kansas shooting the lights out in the first half. It happens, but the refs Imo had the biggest impact on this game.

Stop.

Watch the game again without over trying to not be a Homer. Wasn't called even close to fairly

We didn't get the best whistle, but the refs did not have the biggest impact on the game and even if we had gotten a better whistle, we would not have gotten close to winning. The only effect it had on our defense was Brimah sitting with fouls, but those were legit fouls.

Purvis was the only guy who played competently on offense.
Played well down the stretch for the most part, stepped up defensively, straightened out free throw problem and looking
forward to him coming back as a senior.

Had they got called for the dame fouls? What would have happened? Their bags killed the boards, what if they say as much as AB did? It has an impact and changes the feel of a game when one team is allowed to psi football on the basketball court and the other team has to be delicate like a brain surgeon. One of those two teams is fighting an uphill battle.

I can concede that Kansas had a better team. But we weren't given a fair chance to compete. The better team didn't always win in the tournament. I wanted us to have a fighting chance and that was taken away by the refs.
