Let me get this out of the way right off the bat. Tonight sucked, especially after how the 1st half went.
This team seemed to have turned the corner and gave us a glimpse of the future over the last couple weeks. We were all real quick to think that this team was there. We probably needed to be a little more realistic and expect some performances like this. While it sucked to lose like this, I think it will show the team (players & staff) what we need to do to get back to the elite level. We are close, but not there yet.
I will be real interested to see how Saturday goes. This is the 1st real time we have been punched in the face. We will see how resilient this team is. I fully expect them to get up off the mat, and lay some punches into Pitt.
