When asked about what he'll miss most about leaving he said it won't be the weather, "I like the cold"

Also wants to get a Masters in Sports Medicine. Gotta like this kid.

He said he is looking forward to the MD game as his best friend will be a Terp.

You are not alone John, you are not alone.

I love that he likes the cold. He is ready for football in New England. Sounds like a well rounded young man. He's got some wheels too. Smallish is size, but never underestimate hoping he can come in and be a playmaker after a red shirt year.

Someday I'm going to post the picture of me and my buddy Randy taken at the Walter Campo awards when Donald Brown was on the list.

Or maybe the one where Randy and I golfed at the same charity event (he was in the first foursome and I was in the second)

I'll stop there so people won't throw up, though it might be too late.

Oh..by the way...you suck. (grin)

By early November, the linked 11/7 article indicates John Green (Felix Varela High School, Miami, 5'11", 175, 4.3 40), already committed to Connecticut.

"Replacing Corbett as the team’s number one wide receiver is senior John Green, a University of Connecticut commit, whose 4.3 (40-yard dash) speed, makes Green the fastest and most explosive player on the team. Although wide receiver is Green’s primary position, he is also the offense’s decathlon: returning kickoffs and punts, splitting occasional carries at running back, but also as well as kicking and punting."
