Amen! I'd take a four year solid player that we get to watch develop over a top 10, self involved one and doner any day of the week. Plus, there's something special about our coaches finding the gems who out-perform all of the top 1oo listers who did great in high school, but didn't have what it takes to perform at the college level. This class is a classic Husky class we'll enjoy watching for years.

They've looked good in exhibitions, but we've seen this before and then had players disappear. They're still freshmen and I guarantee you there will be growing pains, but hopefully we can get solid minutes every night out of a couple of them at least.

The freshmen stats against Concordia don't mean much seeing that playing Concordia is like playing a good HS basketball team.

True but it is as clear as a Millennium star diamond that Brimah has all the tools to develop into a lottery pick at UConn (after 3 years). That could easily translate into enough production this year to take us to the promised land. So props to the posters who were bullish on Brimah this preseason. I bought the AB stock a little to late but now am holding and buying it all up! Chukwu is a guy I am very high on but Brimah really mitigates the loss of Chukwu to PC from a long term perspective.

Samuel's game isn't that complicated making it easy to evaluate regardless of competition. We know perfection will not be on the table this year. On the other hand expect very very solid defense against any teams bigger guards and an uncanny knack to make those around him better (intangibles that are hard to find at any level of any sport).

this was a great class for clear as day role players as freshman.

Amida will provide shot-blocking and energy right away
Facey will battle under the boards and provide excellent finishing ability near the rim
Samuel will be a solid ball-handler and defensive PG

The question over their career will be : How do they develop.

However for THIS team, 2013-2014, just what the doctor ordered!

Season needs to start soon.

Some Div 1 upperclassmen will make some of our frosh still look like High School seniors.
