Hi...my name is Johnny Mac...and I like the CFL.

I find it DVR worthy. Some of the rules are a little hokie but I like the movement and athleticism. Definitely an enjoyable viewing experience.

The CFL is ok for July. It's 1000x better to watch than the Arena League and 1000x worse to watch than the Sun Belt.

Had a choice tonight....CFL or The Longest Yard on TNT...I flipped a couple of times and the TLY won out. Even the wife got a kick out of it again...:D

I watched me some CFL Thursday and Friday - if my memory is good I was introduced to CFL is the 80's with advent of cable and ESPN. They used to cover a lot back then on CFL.

Started watching the CFL in the 60's when ABC's Wide world of sports would broadcast the Grey Cup Championship. With the demise of the World Football League, the independent stations (a.k.a. good old Channel 18) took up coverage of the CFL. Was a devotee then Vince Ferragamo spurned the Rams contract offer to play for Montreal. Now, only tune in to see if UConn alums are playing. Must admit it was fun when Terry Caulley would chew up yardage in that league.

Which version Reynolds or Sandler?

Sandler, although Reynolds is in the Sandler version. I never saw the beginning of the movie before. Courtney Cox makes a nice performance in that pink low cut dress!

I actually watched the Grey Cup a few years back. Kory Sheets was the big star.

I thank God for CFL football... Helps fill the void during the offseason... There's only so much NFL Network re-runs of previous games and Top 100 player crap that I can take...

And, btw, I know this is off the topic, I hope that some video game company finally creates a new College Football video game, where they do it right this time. I miss that game, along with the March Madness basketball series, that included WBB...

I kinda just want NFL Blitz to return. Loved that game.

Heh... my wife is from Canadian and my father-in-law is big time into the CFL. So I've watched a lot of it. It's fun... although sometimes I'm still like wtf did that team get a point.

I watched most of Toronto and Calgary last night. The officiating was straight brutal.

The Toronto Argonauts are older than American football by a year or two. We should be thanking Canada we are not a soccer nation.

Sorry you didn't cover.

Ha. I actually had Toronto and got a gift cover. I think Calgary had 18 penalties including the worst OPI call I've ever seen that would have beat me most likely.
